A Blast From The Past

A couple of years ago I freelanced for an online RPG company called Silven Crossroads. They produced a line of gaming material for the D20 system as well as a regular e-zine called the Trumpter. I was fortunate enough to contribute gaming articles and some short stories on an irregular basis. It gave me a chance to hone the craft and build up some creds.

Then, they decided to branch out and start a line of fiction based off of their gaming products, and asked me to write the first story! It was a thrill, and damned frightening. If it tanked I'd feel presonally responsible. Well, it didn't fly over all that well, and it wasn't my fault (really). The market was tight and not many people were into the on-line/ PDF thing.

So today, as I was surfing, I came upon another company (12 To Midnight) that bought up Silven's products and continues to sell them, including my novella, Axiom. What a gas it was to see it again. It still thrills me to see my work floating out there among the other bytes and bits beaming to each and every computer connected to the 'Net. Ya, she's my first baby and look how she's growing. (sniff)
