Its All About The Writing

It's a well known fact that you can't craft a novel without writing. I know - duh! It sounds so simple but at times can rip you from your life or challenge your stamina as well as your sanity. But we love it! Rounding out characters, developing scenes, twisting plots; it's what yanks us out of bed at 2am.

Over at Fangs, Fur, & Fey, Melissa Marr tackles the challenge of "killing your darlings", as in cutting those passages you loved writing but don't have a place in the overall scheme of things.

At the same time at The League, Stacia Kane looks at how life can really put a crimp on your writing schedule, and throw the perverbial monkey wrench into your work.

Challenges are everywhere. But we use them and abuse them to further our craft.
